Longarm Quilting
More than one, gets things done!
Our normal turn around time with longarming is normally between 6-8 weeks thanks in part to having access to three different machines. One machine is in the store and the other two are in our workshop at the house. This is for an all over pantograph design. Below are a few specifics about the quality longarm quilting services we provide.
Longarm Quilting
We offer competitive rates for longarm services. The service includes the following:
- Choice of Design: We have a growing catalog of designs for your selection when dropping off a quilt. If you desire a specific design that we may not have, we can normally accommodate you for free or a small fee.
- Batting: Many quilters bring in their own batting as a matter of preference. However we stock Cotton, Cotton-Poly blend, Black, and Wool battings in the store. We also keep large bolts of batting to offer a little better pricing to our customers to not have to deal with buying their own.
- Thread Color: About 98% of the quilts we longarm will use one of the many colors of threads we have on hand. The other 2% of customers ask for a color that we do not have, but are glad to order it.
We also offer some add-on services including the following:
- Border Turning: We can turn the borders on your quilt to offer a custom look. There is an additional fee for this and it may increase project completion time by up to two weeks.
- Binding: Most of our quilters prefer to do their own binding. However, we have special rates if you would prefer to not fool with that part of the quilt and pick up your project completed and ready to use or gift. We offer Hand-Sewn, Machine-Sewn, and a combination of Machine and Hand-Sewn.
- Custom Quilting: If time permits, we will offer to do custom quilting. We also partner other Longarm Quilters in order to offer this. Special pricing will apply, so please call to get a quote.
- RUSH Order: Depending on our back log, we may be able to adjust our production schedule to fit a quilt in as a ‘Rush’ job. Please note, that many times, we are unable to accommodate this type of request and there is a minimum fee of $100 over the normal cost of the longarm service being provided. .
